Just wondering how soon after I do on-line check-in is my room # assigned? Will it matter if I fax or call a request as to what area we would like as well or is it too late? Did the online check in approx 3 days ago, leaving next tuesday?

    Hi there, Jennifer!

Your room will be assigned to you upon your arrival. Because of the number of people changing reservations, needing late checkouts, etc., it can be difficult for Disney Reservationists and Resort Cast Members to make final determinations too far in advance; if you have any requests, though, you should always indicate them both when you make the reservation and when you check in. Finally, reiterate the request/s when you are at the Resort desk.

I would call now and get the request noted in your file. It's always better to have the request ready to go before you arrive. This will allow the Cast Members at your Resort to start shuffling rooms around based on availability and Guest needs.

Disney does a phenomenal job of looking into the future and attempting to honor as many requests as possible. It is more than likely that "the dream that you wish will come true"!

    See you later, celebrator,
