Hello, I was wondering if someone could tell me how long of a walk it is from the wilderness lodge villas to the petting zoo and hoopty doo revue at fort wilderness? Also is this too much to take on for our arrival daywith a 2 year old? Thanks so much!

    Hi Kelly!

Yes, you can walk from the Wilderness Lodge Villas to Fort Wilderness, but it is a long way and it could take you anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes depending on how fast you walk.  If you desire to go to the Fort Wilderness Campground, then I would suggest that you take the boat that goes from the Wilderness Lodge Resort Docks to Fort Wilderness Campground.  This is a great, scenic boat ride and it drops you off close to Hoop Dee Doo Revue and the animals at Fort Wilderness Campground.  I would suggest choosing one of these two to do on arrival day as not to overwhelm and overstimulate your 2 year old.

I hope that you make many magical memories with your family on your next trip to Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
