Hi Moms! Wondering if snacks/food are permitted in theaters while waiting for shows? Specifically, Lion King, Nemo, Beauty/Beast, Disney Jr., Muppets... Traveling with 5 and 3yo. Thanks!

Hi Wendy! You are asked to not bring any open food or drink into the shows at Walt Disney World. This cuts back on the mess that might be made on chairs and seats. You can imagine how awful it would be if guests brought ice cream bars as they melted onto everything. You can keep snacks of course in your diaper bag but just asked to keep it closed. The wait times for the shows are not much from the time you are let into the facility so this usually is not a problem. Have a great Disney vacation!
