Hi, Just Wondering if there are Smoking (Tobacco) Areas on the Disneyland Hotel Grounds or do we have to leave the Disney Property to Smoke. Thanks

    Hiya, Zach!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney during your preparations to visit the Disneyland Resort. It’s terrific that you will be enjoying a stay at my favorite hotel, the Disneyland Hotel.

You are correct that the Disneyland Resort is now smoke-free. The Disneyland Resort rules clarify further that tobacco, e-cigarettes, and other vaping products may not be used at the Disneyland Resort Hotels (including in rooms, on balconies, and on patios), theme parks, Downtown Disney District, or esplanade between the parks. Guests wishing to smoke or vape may take a short walk to off-site areas.

Tony’s Tip: I’m sure you will want to maximize the value of your time at the Disneyland Resort, including in the theme parks. You might consider using nicotine patches, nicotine gum, lozenges, or other products during your visit. That may help save time walking to and from off-site locations.

I hope you get a chance to enjoy all that the Disneyland Resort offers. Currently, that includes the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. You’ll find plenty of delicious tastes to enjoy. This year, that includes the unusual-sounding Peanut Butter & Jelly Mac. When I first tried it, I was surprised by how enjoyable it was. I may just have to cook some up at home too!

I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Zach!
