I was wondering if the sleigh rides in December in fort wilderness go through the campgrounds so you can see the decorations .

Hello Bonita and thanks for asking the Disney Parks Moms Panel such a great question!
I'm so lucky to have spent December 25th in one of the beautiful rustic Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground which is why I'm thrilled to know you're planning on visiting this delightful Resort during your own December visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
The Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort are truly tinseltastic and for sure you'll enjoy the festive Horse Drawn Excursion - Holiday Sleigh Rides which are available at The Fort.  I'm happy to share that in my own experience in past yEars the 25 minute long Holiday Sleigh Rides have indeed taken in some of the gloriously decorated campsites on their excursions - they truly are a sight not to be missed!
To give a little additional insight I thought you may wish to take a peek at this Disney Parks Blog - Add Some Fa La La to your Holidays with a Sleigh Ride at Walt Disney World Resort.
Wishing you a very merry December 2018 trip to the magic of Walt Disney World Resort.
