Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amber! The
Walt Disney World Bus Transportation system is my go-to for Park going, and even in between the Parks! My family folds up our stroller and heads out each morning as early as we can.
The bus system begins running an hour before the opening of each Park, from your Disney Resort bus stop, and is fairly swift! Coming from the Disney’s Animal Kingdom Resort area, where
Disney's All-Star Movie Resort is located, it takes about 25-30 minutes to get to
Magic Kingdom, but an easy 10 minutes or less to Animal Kingdom Park. Likewise, it will be about 15-20 to Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Epcot. You’ll find the buses run every 20 minutes, or even see
arrival times on the screens hanging in the bus depot, or on your My Disney Experience App so you can make the most of your time. Keep in mind that lines may form at larger Resort bus stops but Cast Members do an amazing job ferrying the buses to and fro. Many years ago, the All-Star Resorts used to share buses, but I’ve noticed for the last few years each of the All-Star Resorts has its own bus for each destination. In very rare instances, such as low Parks volume, you may find a stop or two on your way home.
If I can help you find your way around the Parks any further, please let me know. I think you’ll enjoy grabbing an ice cream from Ghirardelli on the way out of
Disney Springs to nosh at the bus stop while you wait. I know my family does! ~ Lindsey P
