Greetings and welcome to planDisney, Diane!
Thank you for visiting us today with a great question! We are thrilled to help you plan a magical Walt Disney World Resort holiday!
I always find amazing items available for sale at the theme parks, but as a fellow international visitor, I must first ask myself if I will be able to bring that item with me on my flight back to Brazil. Sometimes the products are made of glass and I am afraid they will break, some items are too large for a suitcase, and sometimes I simply do not have extra room for more souvenirs!
If you are buying an item at a retail location, ask if they ship internationally at the time of purchase. You can also
ship pre-packed and pre-labeled packages at the Front Desk or Concierge desk of most Disney Resort hotels. If you cannot pack and label your package, I suggest taking it to the Business Centers located at
Disney’s Contemporary Resort and
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Cast Members will be happy to help you ship it.
I am not sure that shipping items abroad is the best alternative for international Guests. Please note that shipping costs can be very expensive and you may have to pay additional customs fees and import charges in your country. I recommend checking airline policies on extra luggage because it might be cheaper to pay for a piece of extra checked baggage or excess baggage rates and bring your item with you.
I hope this information is helpful, Diane! Come back to visit us if you have additional questions, we are delighted to help!
Best Disney wishes,
Thiana
