Hi, I was wondering if we are setting ourselves up for disappointment if we stay somewhere besides BLT since we stayed there last year and absolutely LOVED it? We are considering WL or Poly but we are afraid of not being able to walk to the MK. Thoughts?

Howdy Mackenzie!  I have thought and thought about this question.  I even did a list of pros and cons.  When all is said and done, the fabulous answer that I came up with is...I just don't know.  I know this doesn't provide you with the insight you were hoping for.

I also LOVE Bay Lake Tower!!!  The resort is wonderful and the short walk to Magic Kingdom is the icing on the magical pixie dusted cake!

However, the Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is amazing and you are a boat ride away from the steps of Magic Kingdom.

Is a full kitchen or washer and dryer important to you?  You will not have either at Disney's Polynesian Resort.  However, you will have a beautiful resort that is on the Monorail and a short ride away from Magic Kingdom.

All three resorts have great pools and terrific dining options.  It's fun to experience new resorts and a change of scenery might be enjoyed by all.  You might even consider a split stay if you would like.

I know you will have a magical time regardless of the resort you select.  If, however, the opportunity to walk to Magic Kingdom is important to you, I would stick with what you know and love and try to reserve a villa at Bay Lake Tower.  Even at a slow pace, I think you should be able to arrive at Magic Kingdom faster if you walk from Bay Lake Tower vs. using either the boat or Monorail from the other resorts even if you catch either at the perfect time.

If you have any other questions, please let me know.  Sorry I wasn't more help, this is just such a hard decision but such a fun one as well!!!  Please let me know what you decide!

Good luck as you make your decision and have a magical day!
