Hi I was wondering if there are any services for me as I have cystic fibrosis and I just wanted to see if there was high calorie foods on the menus. Can you bring medicines and treatments into the parks? Thank you!

Hello Abby and thank you for asking the Disney Parks Moms Panel such important questions about your upcoming visit to the magic and wonder of Walt Disney World Resort.
As the parent of a young person with asthma I can completely relate to your enquiry about bringing personal medication and treatments into the Disney Theme Parks as we always have to carry my son's asthma inhalers with us at all times.  I'm happy to say that of course Guests are permitted to bring necessary medications to meet their personal needs when visiting Walt Disney World Resort - for example asthma medications, antihistamines and EpiPens and in my own personal experience I've always been sure to show the security Cast Member my son's medication at bag check upon entering a Disney Theme Park.
Enjoying good food and family dining during a jolly vacation to Walt Disney World Resort is certainly close to my heart and you'll be pleased to know that Disney ensures each individual Guest can have those same experiences too with a little help from Special Dietary Requests!  My top tip for you would be to email Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com at least 14 days prior to your arrival at Walt Disney World Resort to further discuss your dietary needs and for further information on the specific calorific values of food on any given menu.
    Magical wishes!
