Hey there, Connie! Welcome to planDisney!
I don’t think that it’s ever too early to immerse our little Mouseketeers into the magic of Walt Disney World Resort! My two-year-old has already been to Disney World more times than her age in years! However, navigating the Theme Parks with our magical bundles definitely requires a unique approach to make sure we still get to experience our favorite attractions.
Rider Switch is a great way to ensure you get to board your favorite attractions and know that your little one is safe and sound. When using Rider Switch with your Lightning Lane entrance, simply approach the Cast Member at the attraction’s entrance after your window arrives and inform them of your need for Rider Switch. The Cast Member will scan your
MagicBands and allow the first party to enter the attraction. Once they have completed their ride, the second party can enter the attraction. In my recent experience, the number of Guests who can ride the attraction twice was limited to one.
Practically speaking, your husband and son could ride
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train while you hang out with your daughter. No worries, I spend most of my Disney Vacation time as the ‘guardian of the stroller’ too. I like to use this time to grab a solo snack! Once your husband and son return, you and your son can board the attraction while your husband waits with your daughter. But don’t worry about telling him about the secret snack — that can just be our secret!
And before I go, I want to remind you that each Theme Park has a
Baby Care Center available for Guests with young children. Baby Care Centers have quiet spaces for nursing mothers, changing tables, and even toddler spaces with Disney movies playing. It’s a welcome place of relaxation when my kids just need a minute to unwind.
I hope this helps, Connie!
