I am wondering which resorts have arcades in them? Specifically, Riviera, Beach Club, and Copper Creek? We are going in January so we're looking for activities since it may be too cold for pools

Hey there, Kim. Welcome to planDisney!

I see that you have a trip planned to the Most Magical Place On Earth in late January. I can't think of a better way to kick off a new year. So much fun!

Kim, I have some good news for you. Pools at Walt Disney World are heated to a wonderfully warm 82 degrees all year long. My family and I visit Walt Disney World every year over the week of Christmas and we have spent many years splish-splashing in the pools. So even though it's January, be sure to throw your suits in there anyway. Also, the resorts that you have mentioned all have hot tubs which are perfect for those chilly evenings!

I do love a good arcade and my daughter and I have been known to hit up the ones at the Walt Disney World Resort that we happen to be staying at. In fact, almost all of the resorts have arcades somewhere on property!

Here is a list of where you can find arcades at the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels

Disney's All-Star Movies Resort – Reel Fun Arcade
    Disney's All-Star Music Resort – Note'able Games
Disney's All-Star Sports Resort – Game Point Arcade
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge – Pumbaa’s Fun and Games Arcade
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village – Safari So Good
Disney's Art of Animation Resort – Pixel Play Arcade
Disney's Beach Club Resort – Lafferty Place Arcade
Disney's Boardwalk Inn – Side Show Games
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort – Iguana Arcade
Disney’s Contemporary Resort – The Game Station
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground – Davey Crockett's Wilderness Arcade and Daniel Boone's Wilderness Arcade
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa – Arcadia Games
Disney's Old Key West Resort – Electric Eel Gameroom and Flying Fish Gameroom
Disney's Pop Century Resort – Fast Forward Arcade
Disney's Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter – South Quarter Games
Disney's Port Orleans Resort – Riverside – Medicine Show Arcade
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa – Win, Place or Show Arcade
Disney's Wilderness Lodge – Buttons & Bells Arcade
Disney's Yacht Club Resort – Lafferty Place Arcade
    Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel

Disney's Beach Club Resort, Disney's Riviera Resort and Disney's Wilderness Lodge all have the arcades that you are looking for! I've stayed at all three resorts, Kim, and there really isn't a bad choice out of those three. They are all so great.

If you have any other questions about this or anything else, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm here to help.

    Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
