Welcome back,
Sarah, thanks for stopping by planDisney again with more planning questions. I am excited to help because there are some great options for precisely what you are asking for. Let's get this party started!
If I tell you the fireworks spectaculars are at the top of my list, there would only be one other thing that might top it. Snacks! I love goodies and all that the parks have to offer that we cannot get back home. If you are a fan of snacks then what I am about to tell you combines them with your husbands needs.
Happily Ever After is the best fireworks spectaculars of them all, in my humble opinion. And boy do have they have a perfect solution for your husband, it is called
Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party: Seats and Sweets. This party is the most magical way to end your day, you will have access to a variety of desserts prepared by pastry chefs. Yummy treats like chocolate covered strawberries, and tarts. A variety of cheeses, along with beverages. If you are 21 and older, you will also have access to beer and wine with a valid form of identification. Afterwards you will sit on the restaurant patio to watch the show light up the sky above
Cinderella Castle. You will want to show up at least 60 minutes before the show so you can get your refreshments and seats and drinks.
Another fantastic option with zero crowds and a very intimate experience is a
Fireworks Crusie. A few years ago I enjoyed this with a large group, and we watched the same fireworks show from right outside of the Magic Kingdom entrance. You and your party will take a nice relaxing trip from one of the hotel launches before the show starts. We had a very knowledgeable captain and she fit right into our group. She took us by landmarks in the water, and gave us history that fed my panelist hunger. Once the show was ready to start, and we were done cruising around Bay Lake and the Seven Seas Lagoon, our skipper parked us front and center. The music is piped into you pontoon boat, and you simply enjoy the show with your group. This rental fits up to ten guests and comes with my favorite thing. Yep you guessed it, snacks! It also includes soft drinks and water, but the snacks are what truly excite me. Alchohol is allowed on board, just not in glass bottles or glasses. While this option does not give you an up close view of the castle, the experience may spoil you forever.
I hope you get to use one of these options when you visit next year. You have already visited us again, but I will invite you over and over.
Have a magical day,
Jeremy A.
