Just wondering if you are required to stay at the Polynesian Resort in order to go to the beach? Can you watch the fireworks from there if you are not staying there?

    Hi Melanie!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

In general, the answer to your question is guests not staying at the Polynesian can visit the beach and watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks from there.  It is a great experience.  However, in the past Disney has sometimes restricted access on the busiest days of the year such as July 4th and Christmas to only guests actually staying at the Polynesian.  However, that's really only happened a couple of times.  Unless you are thinking about those two nights, you should be fine; if you are thinking about those two nights in 2013, you'll have to wait until later in the year to hear what might happen.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
