    Hi I was wondering if they rent out tents at the campsites?

    Hi Jessica!

    The Fort Wilderness Campsites are a very unique way to enjoy a Walt Disney World vacation. We have moved from camping to "glamping" when we bring our motor coach along for some wonderful weeks there every year but I only wish we had known about tenting at Disney when we were younger. Fort Wilderness is one of the finest campgrounds in the country.

    In the past Disney was only renting tents to the group campers and if there was anything left over they would open up the rentals to the other guests. The popularity of the tents became so strong that Disney is now offering rental to all guests. It is wise to call ahead and let them know you will be needing a tent as demand might over reach the supply. You can reach the Fort Wilderness campgrounds main office at 407-824-2837. Let them know the dates of your reservation and that you will be needing to rent a tent and see if there is anything else you might need to rent as well. Disney is great in that they will even put the tent up on your site for you. Enjoy your upcoming camping trip with Mickey and friends!
