Hello, I was wondering if you rent a locker at one park and then hop to another would you have to pay for another locker at 2nd park or is it like stroller rental? Thanks for all your help. Roger

    Hey Howdy Hey, Roger!

It's good to see you again here at planDisney as you continue to prepare for your upcoming trip!  Do you have any type of countdown fun happening in your house?  My panelist pals Lizzie and Diane shared some of their favorite tips on an earlier episode of the planDisney Podcast, and I'm excited to use some of their ideas ahead of our next visit in December!  Did you also know that you can see your countdown in the My Disney Experience Mobile App when you click on your hotel reservation?  So fun!

Roger, you are correct that some rentals and purchases extend park hopping benefits to Guests, such as stroller rentals, theme park parking, and the information I shared with you earlier about Lightning Lane Multi Pass.  Unfortunately, though, locker rentals are specific to each park.  If you will be visiting multiple parks during the day and would like to rent a locker, you would need to purchase a new rental in each park.  Currently, you'll find two sizes of lockers available at all four theme parks (small and large), with both EPCOT and Magic Kingdom Park also offering jumbo options.  While pricing is subject to change, the current cost is $10 per day for small lockers, $12 per day for large lockers, and $15 per day for the jumbo option where available.  Even though you can't transfer your locker rental to another park, you'll be happy to know that you can enter your locker as often as you'd like throughout your visit to a single park.  If you plan to visit one of the water parks during your stay, you'll also find locker rentals available there as well.

When you're packing for a day at the parks, I suggest taking a quick peek at the Walt Disney World Property Rules for a list of any items that might be restricted or prohibited just so you don't run into any issues at security.  We typically like to bring several bottles of water and some snacks for the kids (and sometimes the adults, too!) into the parks.  Not only does this help if we're waiting in line for an attraction or show and someone needs a little snack pick-me-up, but it's also a way we help manage our budget in the parks.  Depending on the weather forecast, we may also bring portable fans or cooling towels.  While my family typically can pack for a day at the parks in just a backpack that we keep with us, you may find locker rentals especially helpful if you need to bring extra layers for a chillier evening or make a larger purchase that you want to secure during your day.

Roger, I hope you continue to find our answers helpful as you plan your trip, and I'm wishing on a star that you have the most magical time at Walt Disney World Resort!  If you have any other questions while getting those final Donald Ducks in a row for your vacation, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!

    See ya real soon!
