Hiya, Lisa, and thanks for stopping by
planDisney!
Your summertime visit to the
Happiest Place on Earth is almost here… let the countdown begin!
I’m happy to report that the Disneyland Resort offers
Disability Access Service (DAS) to assist Guests who aren’t able to wait in a conventional standby queue. There are two ways for you to register for DAS, including using
DAS Advance, which allows you
to pre-register online as early as 30 days before your visit, and no less than two days before. The other option is to wait and register for DAS when you arrive at the Disneyland Resort. You can register in-person at City Hall (in Disneyland Park), Chamber of Commerce (in Disney California Adventure Park), or any
Guest Information location.
Since you’re within the 30-day window of your vacation, you’re able to use DAS Advance to pre-register if you’d like. With DAS Advance, you'll have a live online chat with a Cast Member about the reason you’re requesting DAS, and why you’re unable to wait in a standby queue. If approved, you’ll have the chance to book up to 2 one-hour return windows
for select experiences, subject to availability. This is in addition to the regular DAS benefit of making return-time selections throughout your day. You’ll be able to make those additional return time selections from the convenience of your
Disneyland app once you’re inside the theme parks.
If you register in-person at the Disneyland Resort, you’d have a similar conversation with a Cast Member, who would then schedule your first DAS attraction for you. From that point forward, you’ll be able to schedule your own DAS return times using the Disneyland app.
Last but not least, here’s the
Entertainment Schedule for your arrival day, so you can start mapping out your magical plans! If you have any additional questions, please stop back at planDisney… we’re all EARs!
Can’t wait to see ya’ real soon,
Kristin
