Hello! I was wondering if there is a recommended early arrival time frame to avoid lines for showing the bar code to pick up tickets. Our first day will be 7/16/18. Thanks!

    Hi Ginger!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Your trip is almost here! I am so excited for you. My family and I returned from our Walt Disney World vacation a few days ago and I'm already ready to go back! Make sure you visit the new Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios. It's a really great addition with some very nostalgic toys and characters that most of us grew up with.

Here is a link to an interactive theme park hour calendar for Walt Disney World Resort. I'm not sure which park you will be going to on your first day, but you can find out from that calendar what time the park opens. Guest Relations booths are scheduled to be open during normal park hours, but they usually open up earlier to accommodate Guests.  I would try to be there at least one hour prior to opening if you want to get in the park ASAP. The lines will be longest first thing in the morning, so waiting a couple of hours after the park opens will also work to avoid a long wait.

I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you have any other questions and have an amazing vacation!
