Hi. I am wondering if it is quicker to travel to Hoop de doo from Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom? How long should I allow to be safe travelling in both instances? Happy to catch a cab it that makes it easier and saves time. thanks

    Hi Lynnete,

Thanks for your question.  I love transportation questions and the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue!

It is very quick and easy to travel from the Magic Kingdom to the Hoop-Dee-Doo.  Just board a boat headed to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground at the front of the Magic Kingdom.  When you disembark at Fort Wilderness, simply ask the Cast Member piloting the watercraft to point you in the direction of Pioneer Hall.  It is just a short walk from the Fort Wilderness dock.  Even though the boat ride only takes 10-15 minutes, I'd be sure to allow yourself 45-60 minutes to make this trip because you might need to wait for a boat to arrive at the Magic Kingdom dock.  This is still more direct than taking a taxi.

Traveling to the Hoop-Dee-Doo from Disney's Animal Kingdom will take much longer so I suggest you follow the travel plan in the preceding paragraph.

Have a fabulous time at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue and be sure to enjoy some strawberry shortcake for me!
