Hi there, Samnang!
Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I want to also thank your husband for his tremendous military service and sacrifice for our country. The Disneyland Resort is also committed to showing gratitude to the U.S. armed forces by offering some great discounts on Disneyland Resort theme park tickets and hotel rates.
Specially priced 3-Day and 4-Day Park Hopper tickets for U.S. military personnel can be purchased at your local military base before arriving. As long as your husband has a military ID showing he is retired, he will be eligible for this offer. Alternatively, you can utilize the offer if you have a dependent military ID, meaning you can purchase tickets on your husband's behalf. Veterans that are not retired (without a military ID) are not eligible for these offers. As part of a military family myself, I have purchased tickets at my local military base ticket office with my dependent ID a few weeks before arrival. When I arrived to the Resort, I just have brought these paper "exchange" tickets right to the gates of the park when I entered with my family. Make sure that you or your husband has their military ID out and ready when you enter the gates for the first time with everyone present. You will be given a real paper ticket at this time to use for the remainder of your trip. It's such a breeze!
Military personnel are also eligible for
discounted rates at select rooms at each of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels. Again, just make sure you have your military ID present when checking in to verify military status. You can book these great rates by calling and making your reservation by phone at (714) 956-6425. Military discounts are not available online at this time.
I hope this helps, and please return if you have any other questions. Have a Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah day!
