Hi Keith! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.
I understand the role budgeting plays in planning for a Disneyland Resort vacation. Saving is always a concern for my family as well, and a payment plan for
admission tickets would certainly be a nice choice to have. Unfortunately, there is no such option for standard admission tickets currently. While you can pay at your convenience in the amount you prefer on a
Vacation Package, the purchase of just admission tickets without a hotel stay must be paid in full at the time of purchase. I'm sorry if that's not the magic answer you were hoping for today.
I do have some suggestions. First, you can pay for your admission tickets with a
Disney Gift Card, and depending on where you purchase your Disney Gift Card, you might get a percentage off that purchase for being a credit card holder at that store. That's a savings! You can also use Disney Gift Cards in the parks for dining and merchandise, which is an additional savings on the trip if you saved on the original gift card purchase.
I might also suggest some budgeting ideas for your trip. We like to pack our own snacks to save on the amount we buy in the parks, and some people pack their own lunches too. Just be sure to check the
Park Rules for what you can and can't bring into the parks.
Refillable water bottles not only keep you hydrated, but also save on beverage purchases, so we're never without ours. Plus, there are some fun complimentary souvenirs and activities that your family can enjoy like the
Animation Academy in Hollywood Land at Disney California Adventure Park, where you'll learn to sketch a beloved Character and take your drawing home with you as a treasured keepsake!
I hope this helps.
