Hiya Lauryn - welcome back to
planDisney!
Thanks so much for stopping by with another question for our team of panelists. We love to help Guests just like you plan magical Walt Disney World Resort vacations! It's an especially magical time to visit as the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration continues - there are new attractions, exciting entertainment, great food, and so much more!
The Rescue Rangers and I did some research and we've come to the conclusion that you are not able to transfer a reservation to another person, regardless of whether it is a gift. The
Terms and Conditions state that "Room reservations are not transferable and reservation name changes are not permitted."
Lauryn, I notice that you're writing to us from Florida, so you may already know about the
Special Offers that are made available exclusively to Florida Residents. These offers are also not transferable or able to be gifted, and proof of Florida Residency is required for both Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservations and to use Florida Resident Theme Park Tickets. If you make and pay for the reservation as a Florida Resident, your non-Florida Resident family members are still welcome to stay with you in the room!
I hope this information helps your planning journey -
let us know if other questions pop up!
