Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Ashlie. It looks like your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just about to begin! You must be super excited. I know I would be!
The
Park Hopper Option is a fantastic way to add a little more magic to your Disney vacation. With the Park Hopper Option, you have the flexibility to visit multiple theme parks in a single day. Whether you decide to upgrade your Theme Park Tickets to include the Park Hopper Option is really a personal preference, and in my experience, that preference can be dependent on the type of visit you're planning. Let's chat about whether or not you should consider adding the Park Hopper Option!
For me,
visiting all four theme parks at least once is a must-do for all my family's Disney vacations. Each theme park is unique in its attractions, dining experiences, and entertainment offerings. I wouldn't want to miss any of them! If you'll only be staying a few days, the Park Hopper Option will allow you the chance to get to all four theme parks during your visit.
The Park Hopper Option
is a ticket upgrade, and that upgrade can be a bit pricey. If you're on a tight budget, I don't recommend upgrading your tickets. Save that money for souvenirs and snacks! If my family is visiting for five or more days, we don't bother upgrading our tickets to include the Park Hopper Option because five days gives us enough time to get to all the theme parks at least once (we like to get to Magic Kingdom Park twice). We've found that there's more to do at each theme park than we could possibly experience all in one day, so we don't really find the need to leave and visit a different park in the same day!
You can upgrade your Theme Park Tickets to include the Park Hopper Option over the phone before your arrival tomorrow by calling the Ticketing Team at (407) 934-7639. You can certainly also wait until your arrival! Just stop by the Front Desk of your Disney Resorts Collection hotel or a ticket window at any of the four theme parks.
If you do opt for the Park Hopper Option, it's important to note that you must visit the theme park you have a Theme Park Reservation for first. Then, beginning at 2:00 PM, you can start "hopping" to other parks!
I hope this was helpful, Ashlie. I'm wishing you a Disney vacation that is practically perfect in every way!
