I was wondering if you can provide some recommendations on counter service restaurants for each park that we can use our quick service meal credits at --- where we can still get a meal that is tasty and filling for both my husband and 8 year old son. thx

    Hello Suzy,

I amy happy to help guide you in your quest for some fun, hearty and delicious options for quick service meals throughout the different theme parks at Walt Disney World. Here are my favorite locations at each park.
    • At Magic Kingdom, I absolutely love Columbia Harbour House for several reasons. The food is extremely hearty and offers some menu items you would typically expect from a quick-service location. I also love the abundant amount of seating there. You can typically find the often overlooked tables upstairs available, even during the busier meal times. My favorite items here are the New England Clam Chowder and the Lobster Roll.
    • Over at Epcot, I would recommend Sunshine Season in the Land Pavilion. Since many of the components for their dishes are grown right there in the Land Pavilion, the food is sure to be fresh and tasty. There is also lots of different items to choose so there is likely something for everyone. There are tasty grilled items and a multitude of salads and sandwiches to choose from. I will tell you that this place is rather popular and therefore, I would suggest dining here during less obvious meal times.
    • Sunset Ranch Market on Sunset Boulevard at Disney's Hollywood Studios is reminiscent of the farmers markets of California. Each "stand" offers different fare such as ribs and chicken at Fairfax Fare, burgers at Rosie's All-American Cafe, and pizzas at Catalina Eddie's. All seating is outdoors at umbrella covered tables.
    • Lastly, Flame Tree Barbecue is my husband's favorite quick service spot at Disney's Animal Kingdom. The food is really delicious and hearty, but word to the wise, it can get messy with all of that yummy barbecue sauce.

If you are also looking for a yummy option in Downtown Disney, be sure to check out Earl of Sandwich. It is a must-do each and every trip for me.

    Bon Appétit
