Hello, Brandi, and welcome to planDisney! I'm delighted to help you get everything in order for a smooth check-in.
Disney Cruise Line's
Travel Documentation page has all the details you need for your trip. As a Canadian resident, you’ll need to have your original, valid passport ready. You’ll upload a photo of it during online check-in and present the physical passport when you arrive at the port.
Online check-in opens 30 days before your voyage, which is just around the corner! Along with a picture of everyone’s passport, you'll enter your emergency contact information, a credit card for any onboard purchases, arrival and departure plans, and an individual color photo of each guest taken against a neutral background.
One of the final steps in the check-in process is selecting a Port Arrival Time. This is the time you should aim to arrive at the terminal. Be sure to print this form or save it to your phone. Once all the required information is submitted, your check-in status will change from "Not Started" to "Pending Approval." It can take a few weeks for all your information to be approved.
Now that your documents are all set, let’s dive into some of the fantastic onboard experiences waiting for you! The
Disney Magic is the only ship with the AquaDunk, a thrilling three-story plunge that twists and turns around the ship. If you’re a Rapunzel fan, you’ll love Rapunzel’s Royal Table, where you can enjoy singing, dancing, and even a visit from some mischievous Snuggly Duckling Thugs.
And since it’s
Halloween on the High Seas, get ready for a spooktacular time! On Tuesday, Halloween will be celebrated Disney style, with trick-or-treating, special character meet-and-greets, haunted stories, and a marvelous Mouse-querade Party!
I hope this information helps your check-in go smoothly! Please sail back to planDisney if you have any additional questions. My pals and I are always happy to help.
SEAS the adventure!
