Hiya Lori - welcome back to
planDisney!
Thanks so much for stopping by with your question! I'm not sure if Ralph broke the Internet again and chopped off part of your question, or maybe it was a Stitch glitch, but I'm going to make some assumptions and hope I can be helpful. You can always
ask me another question for clarification if need be!
The only upcoming special events that do not require Theme Park tickets are
Disney Vacation Club Moonlight Magic events which were recently announced to return this year. I'm not sure this is the "private party" that you are referring to, especially because there are no Moonlight Magic events scheduled near your arrival date.
That being said, just to cover all of our bases, let me share some details that I received about these events as a registered Disney Vacation Club Member. Typically, these events formally start once the park closes - in the case of the upcoming Moonlight Magic event at
EPCOT I'm pre-registered for on March 31st, the fun kicks off at 10:00 p.m. and lasts until 1:00 a.m.! For this particular event, registered Disney Vacation Club Members are able to enter EPCOT as early as 6 p.m. without needing Theme Park Admission tickets or Park Pass Reservations. That being said, every event is different, and details are usually provided about one week prior to the event via email to Members who have registered.
The only other events I can think of that you might be referring to are various
Enchanting Extras, such as the
Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Parties: Disney Enchantment Treats & Seats. Most of these events
do require a valid
Theme Park Admission ticket and
Park Pass Reservation, meaning that you would already have entry access to the park prior to the event taking place. Often, these events do open their spaces to Guests early, and you can refer to your reservation confirmation for details, or simply speak to a Cast Member at the location for details.
As I said, this answer might be off-base, so please feel free to
ask a follow-up question for clarification if this answer isn't helpful!
