    I am wondering what the pricing is like for the Wi-Fi packages on the DCL. (Actually my husband does;) Thanks!

    Connect@Sea, Disney Cruise Line's Internet service, offers packages based on data consumption, or your personal online needs. Guests pay for data used instead of paying per minute. You simply get started by connecting with WiFi anywhere on the ship, then you can stay connected with your social media channels, email, etc. while onboard!

    There are a variety of data packages available from pay-as-you-go, to ones for the whole family. The rates from our most recent cruise were as follows:

    1) Pay-As-You-Go: ($0.25 per MB)
    A starter package, it you don't know how much you plan to be online. You can upgrade at any time.

    2) Small: $19.00 ($0.19 per MB) - 100MB
    A good choice for occasional use. Choose this package for quick checks of your email, and keeping tabs on things back home.

    3) Medium: $39.00 ($0.13 per MB) - 300MB
    Perfect for moderate use - share your cruise experience with friends and family while onboard. If you just can't wait to upload pics to Instagram and Facebook, this is the package for you!

    4) Large: $89.00 ($0.09 per MB) - 1000MB
    This package covers it all - stream movies or music, stay connected!

    One of my favorite things about a Disney Cruise Line vacation is NOT being connected, so we've never opted to purchase WiFi onboard. Sometimes it seems like the only way to make my husband take a vacation from the never-ending emails associated with his job! I know that's not always an option for everyone, so I'm happy DCL offers great Internet service.
