Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to seat one adult and two children (7 & 6) together in one seat for 1. Splash Mountain, 2. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, 3. Big Thunder Mountain, 3. Expedition Everest? Thanks!

    Hello, David!

Welcome back! This is a great question! Especially when you have younger children, or, like me, are a family of five and you're trying to make a plan for the attractions. Here is how the seating configurations for these attractions work.

    1. Splash Mountain®- Seats two/three. One adult and two smaller children can fit in one seat. In fact, Cast Members will encourage three to a seat when they recognize it's possible.

    2. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train- This attraction is designed to only seat two. There are two distinct seats and two lap bars. Seating three is not possible.

    3. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad®- Like Splash Mountain, the seats on this attraction are designed to potentially hold up to three guests.

    4. Expedition Everest- Legend of the Forbidden Mountain®- The cars on this attraction will only seat two. There are two high back seats and two lap bars.

I hope this helps, David! Please let me know if we can be of further assistance. It's the little logistics like this that the Disney Parks Moms Panel is here to help you with.

    Have a magical day!
