Thanks for swinging by planDisney today Samantha. Your question about parking is an important one. It is a very different situation in comparison to the California parks if you have visited those before.
The 4 theme parks within the
Walt Disney World Resort have access directly from the parking lot or they have a method to transport you from the lot to the front of the park where the park entrance lines start to form. If one of your party members has a disability there is parking available a short distance from each of the main entrances. A valid disability parking permit will be required. You will not be able to drive your vehicle up to the front gates. Standard parking rates apply for all parking.
The
Magic Kingdom Park has a tram from the parking lot. Unless you are there nice and early and get some of those coveted prime spots within walking distance. If you are staying at one of the many
Disney Resort Collection Hotels you can be whisked away by a bus to the front gates. Some of the resorts like
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort have direct access to
Disney Skyliner.
EPCOT and
Disney's Hollywood Studios are at the other end of this convenient mode of transportation. This state-of-the-art gondola system is the newest way to get around the resort.
I hope this information is helpful in getting your party members the best option for the least impact on their park day. If you need any other tips or need any other guidance feel free to
ask me a question and I will be happy to assist.
Have a magical day,
Jeremy A.
