Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Heather ~
I love being spontaneous in life. Its fun, can be less stressful and you never know what adventures will come your way. However, over the years I've learned that if there is something at Disney I have my heart set on doing, I should go ahead and make reservations just to be safe. That is especially true when its something my boys really want to do. Its harder for some kids to handle disappointment than adults.
The
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is a very popular experience for girls ages 3 - 12. There are two locations: one at Downtown Disney and one inside the Magic Kingdom. The location inside the Magic Kingdom does require theme park admission. If you think your daughter really wants to do it, then I'd suggest calling to check on availability during your trip and make a reservation. You can do that by calling 407-WDW-STYLE (407-939-7895).
You can always try walking up and checking on availability. Just remember that your chances may not be great and prepare your daughter for that just in case. You could try checking walking up without her seeing that you're doing it in case there are not any same day appointments available.
There is usually a Fairy Godmother-in-training standing out front of each location that can sprinkle some pixie dust in your daughter's hair. There are also shops near both locations that your daughter could pick out princess dresses and accessories too. So even if you wanted to be spontaneous and could not get her in, you could at least let her shop and have the pixie dust sprinkled in her hair.
Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions. We'll be hEAR for you up until you embark on your pixie dusted trail!
Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
