I am just wondering if pool times at the Grand Californian need to be reserved ahead of time?

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Jeff!

Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by, and we are so excited to answer your question and help you plan your upcoming trip to the Disneyland Resort! We KNOW you are going to have the most MAGICAL time ever!

First of all, you are going to LOVE staying at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa! Of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels, this hotel is my absolute favorite place to stay. I love the theming throughout the entire hotel, and the attention to detail is absolutely spectacular! Speaking of INCREDIBLE, you are going to be in AWE once you see and experience the pool area. I really don't know how Mickey Mouse and his pals can create a place like this! I can't wait for you to sit back and relax by the pool.

So, are you ready for some TIGGER-ific news? I am very happy to inform you that you do NOT need to make special reservations to swim and hang out at the pool. I just spoke to a very helpful Cast Member, and she just confirmed this information as well.

I hope this information helps you in your planning! If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask! We are here to help in any way!

    See Ya Real Soon!
