Hi there, Nevaeh!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your trip to Walt Disney World Resort is just around the corner and I know you must be so very excited for it to get here! At my house we always start our countdown at the 30-day mark because any longer than that results in way too many questions of “how many days is that?!?!” and “how long is that?!” for this mama! But once 30-days until vacation hits, we are in full countdown mode! And YOUR trip is just ONE week away! So exciting!
I love utilizing the
Walt Disney World Resort hotel pools as a break from the theme parks and will typically try to plan a full day in between theme park visits to just enjoy a nice and relaxing pool day! The Walt Disney World Resort pools are always so much fun with unique themes and often even added fun for littles with waterslides or splash areas! Complimentary life vests are available at all of the pools for Guests to use and you can bring your own water toys, including floats and rafts. There are not specified size restrictions but are always at the discretion of the on-duty lifeguards as they need to be able to clearly see all Guests in the pool at all times. From my experience, as long as they aren’t one of those huge, oversized floats then you should have no issues with them in the pools, but if you have any questions once there, feel free to ask a lifeguard or Cast Member.
Since you will be at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel for your vacation, be sure to utilize the Extra Magic Hours and visit the theme parks before they officially open or stay late for Evening Magic Hours! That is one of my favorite
benefits of staying on property!
Wishing you a magical and memorable vacation, Nevaeh!
