We’re wondering if the Polynesian Village resort has any quiet hours at night, and if the rooms are fairly soundproof as our daughter (18 months at time of travel) is a light sleeper. Any suggestions and/or recommendations would be great. Thank you!!

    Hi Joshua!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so glad that you stopped by with a question for us. I know you must be getting excited about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and it will be here before you know it. You and your family are sure to have a wonderful time as long as your little princess gets her beauty sleep!

I don't believe there are any scheduled quiet hours at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, but the rooms there do seem to be pretty soundproof to me. So hopefully you won't hear too much noise from your neighbors. When my children were that age, we always traveled with a sound machine to block out any noise coming from the hallway or the rooms next door. Since there are always a lot of children visiting, you'll definitely hear them from time to time. I've found that just that little bit of noise coming from the machine helped to keep my children from waking up which was always a good thing. Well rested children make for happier children for sure!

I do hope this helps with your planning and more importantly, so you can all get your rest on your upcoming vacation. Have a wonderful time and make lots of magical memories! And if we can do anything else, just let us know.
