I was wondering if you could please inform me as to when the school holidays (vacation break) are during 2011. We are hoping to be there in June next year but would rather avoid that time if at all possible.

Hi Tanya! Determining school vacation times throughout the country is close to being an impossible task! School districts are constantly changing their calendars from year to year. I know in my own location the district is changing to try to start school after Labor Day which will mean the students will go further into the month of June. There are also those schools that go all year round and their vacation schedules are completely different. The foreign visitors also have a completely different school schedule.

If you are planning a June Disney vacation my suggestion would be to visit as early as possible. As you get later into this month you will find more crowds and especially as you get close to the Fourth of July holiday. July is certainly one of the busiest months for the parks!
