Hi I was wondering if the playgrounds and splash pads are open in EPCOT and at fantasyland in magic kingdom

Hi Alycia! Welcome back to planDisney!

What a perfect time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort! Between the Walt Disney World Resort 50th anniversary celebration that kicked off yesterday and the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival that is still taking place, you will have so much to experience. I know you must be thrilled!

When I vacationed at the Most Magical Place on Earth recently, I found the splash pad in EPCOT near Test Track was open with a few blissfully happy little ones splashing away! The splash pad in Magic Kingdom Park was not open at that time, but there are hours listed for Casey Jr. Splash 'N' Soak Station now so I think you'll be in luck! A lot is evolving around the theme parks, especially since the 50th anniversary events began, so this is subject to change. It is a good idea to bring a change of clothes for your kiddos.

I noticed during my last visit that some of the play areas had reopened! The play area that is part of the interactive queue for The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh was open, as well as the Laughin' Place outside of Splash Mountain. It was fun to see these areas operational again!

I hope you have the BEST vacation, Alycia! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
