Hi Dawn! I bet you are so excited to be bringing your grandson to the
Happiest Place on Earth! It's so wonderful to see Walt Disney World through the eyes of a child.
Rest assured, I really don't think you have planned too much for your days. When my kids were small, I found that if I tried to keep them to a regular schedule, they could handle anything. For you, this may mean heading back to your resort for nap-time or mid-day break. Give him time to recharge his batteries and prepare for the next bit of excitement. As far as the meals go, why not take him to these places where he'll be fascinated and happy? The best part is he can get up and dance and play if he needs to let off some steam!
I also think it's a great idea to try to take things at his pace. Rather than rushing from attraction to attraction, give your grandson time to explore. If you try to "Go, Go, Go!", you may set yourself up for an unhappy experience with a young child.
Here is some great information regarding
Traveling with Little Ones at Disney Theme Parks. You'll find some useful tips.
I think you will create beautiful memories with your grandson, Dawn.
Until then, I wish you a MAGICAL vacation!
