Hello, I was wondering if pictures taken along the half and full marathon WDW course are PhotoPass photographers able to be linked to the Memory Maker? If so, are they only with the characters? Or are official race photos a different provider? Thank you.

    Hello, Tracy!

Thank you so much for your question! It's a great one. While there will be photographers stationed along the course and at select character photo stops, they will not be Disney PhotoPass Photographers. Race events require the skill of photographers equipped to capture runners in action, so this service is outsourced to MarathoFoto. While I'm hopefully that one day Memory Maker can be utilized for race photos, it's just not possible at the moment.

With regard to character photo opportunities, not all locations will have a MarathoFoto photographer present, so make sure you bring a camera or smartphone as there will be a Disney Cast Member on hand to take your photo.

I also suggest stopping by the MarathonFoto vendor booth during your next runDisney Health & Fitness Expo. They usually offer great photo package discounts when you pre-purchase.

I hope this helps, Tracy! Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I am here to help!

    Happy Running!
