    Hi! I was wondering if there some photo session I can book with a Disney photographer to take pictures of Me and my fiancee at the grand Floridian hotel?

    Hello Carolina, it's good to see you back at planDisney!

    Firstly, I'd like to say Congratulations on getting engaged! My husband actually popped the question right in the lobby of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and I can definitely understand why you both would want to capture some beautiful pictures here together. One of our dearest former Cast Member pals captured that moment for us, and we loved the beautiful surroundings so much we even ended up not only having our Disney Wedding here last year but also ended up being Disney Vacation Club owners of The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. I'm here today to check out the construction of the gingerbread house ahead of the holidays and had a chat with a few folks working here for some additional insight:

    • The Cast Members suggested that taking your personal photos with your own cameras or devices is fine as a guest staying there, or taking advantage of the Disney PhotoPass photographers often stationed upstairs adjacent to M. Mouse Mercantile with a dedicated backdrop (and even a glass slipper prop!). You may also find them roaming around the lobby area, so it's worth asking them to take your photos especially if you've purchased Memory Maker; in case you can't locate them, just ask the nearest Cast Member if they've spotted them recently.
    • There are however private Capture Your Moment photo sessions that you can book at the theme parks that are also with Disney PhotoPass photographers. We actually tried this out ourselves last year and highly recommend booking back-to-back sessions for some additional time and a chance of some more variety of locations with the photos they'll take of you both!
