I am wondering if I have to pay for my 2 year old to eat at the Liberty Tree restaurant in Magic Kingdom.

Hello there, thank you for visiting planDisney! I hope you are getting excited, your trip is just around the river bend! And you have selected my favorite table service restaurant in the Magic Kingdom Park

Mary your visit is so close I can smell it, and I'm not even going. I hope you have started packing, in my household I start accumulating items to pack anywhere between 30-45 days before my visit. This may be a day trip for you since you live in the state so a month ahead of time may not be needed. If you are staying at a Disney Resort Collection Hotel you can visit a water park for free on your check-in day in 2025. If you try and arrive early in the day you might be able to take advantage of this perk.

My absolute favorite holiday food by far is Thanksgiving dinner, and the Liberty Tree Tavern does not disappoint when it comes to food that fills you up. The all-you-care-to-enjoy Patriot's Platter has roasted turkey, pot roast and oven-roasted pork, and of course is accompanied by sides. This meal is something you can definitely share with your 2 year old. In fact they are able to until they are 3 years old. So when you are making you reservations you can include them and not be charged. Just let the Cast Member know your little one is under 3, and they can share with you. They can have their fair share of macaroni and cheese before they get to the real star of the show. The Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake is what other Disney desserts aspire to be.

If you are having dinner here you can head down the street towards the Haunted Mansion and make a right. If you have any Rapunzel fans there is a special picture with one of the floating lanterns. You will be holding an illuminated lantern and this experience starts right around sundown. This is a weather permitting situation, as it is outside in front of the Tangled themed bathrooms. The PhotoPass Cast Member will take your photo if you have Memory Maker and will save your photo for you, or they can use your camera as well.

I hope your meal is plentiful and that this information helped you ahead of your visit. Come back anytime and someone will be happy to help.

    See ya real soon,

    Jeremy A.
