Hey there, Danielle!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for stopping by with such a great question. I’ve been lucky enough to visit with my kids as little as 12-months-old, returning yearly. And I gotta tell ya, I was super surprised on that first trip with my first born, at just a year old, how much he was able to enjoy with us. We all had such a magical trip! I’ll never forget seeing the wonder and amazement of it all through his eyes. The magic was real to him!
There are over 25 attractions at Magic Kingdom without height restrictions. And that’s just at one of the four theme parks! Add to that all the other magical experiences to enjoy and explore for those tiny mouseketeers and you’ll soon find that there is a world of fun to be had with your little one during a first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.
To give you an idea, you can search all the attractions without height restrictions by visiting the
Things to Do tab on the website and filtering the results by height. The list is long and loaded with fun!
Disney also put together some great tips and info for parents visiting with preschoolers and little ones in one easy to navigate site (select underlined link to visit).
Don’t forget to plan some fun and delicious character meals too! Seeing my princess light up when she saw her favorite character at the time, Winnie the Pooh himself, approaching her, was absolutely priceless. The photos I have from that meal are the sweetest! She could not believe her eyes.
I hope this helps ease your concerns about visiting with a tiny tot. They might not remember it all, but you will. And you’ll be able to cherish those memories forever.
See ya real soon,
Emille
