Hello, I was wondering if the parking structures were going to be open early for the half marathon? I do also have reservation for the parks and are not staying at any hotels nearby.

    Hey there, Mayra!

Welcome to planDisney! I'm sorry I didn't run fast enough to answer your question before the race weekend, but I'd love to give you some info for your next visit.

For runDisney events, participants will always receive several emails in advance with all the details they need. In this case, the Disneyland Half Marathon Digital Expo and Event Guide that was emailed to athletes directed them on where to park for race weekend events. Those emails usually come at least a couple of weeks in advance, but if you don't see the relevant information you can always call runDisney at the phone number on the bottom of their webpage. The runDisney Expo where you pick up your bib and other materials is also a great place to get clarification on race morning details!

On regular park days, you can find great parking information on the Disneyland website! Those parking options typically open 60 minutes prior to the earliest theme park opening time each day.

Mayra, I hope you had a fabulous race! I ran the half marathon this weekend as well and I was so thrilled with the event. Running so much in both parks was a dream! Pixar Pier with all the lights? The projections on Main Street, U.S.A.? Early morning light across the spires on Batuu? So amazing! I hope you were able to go the distance and meet your goals. That's what Disney stories are all about!

    Keep moving forward!
