Just wondering what to pack for our WDW trip...April 9th thru April 13th? Will we need shorts or lightweight pants like capris, jeans etc.? Feeling overwhelmed about how much to pack...is two outfits per day too much? Thanks

    Hi Anissa!

Please don't get overwhelmed!  While it is great to be prepared, there is such a thing as overdoing it!  You will be fine!

April can be a tricky month, but generally in Florida it gets very warm.  So, yes, be sure to pack some shorts and a swimsuit!  However, I would take at least one pair of long pants and/or capris, and a light cardigan, sweatshirt, or jacket to layer over your lighter clothes in the cooler evenings.  You may not need them, but they are nice to have available.

If you are like me, you freeze to death when the air conditioning is blowing, so you may find yourself wishing you had a light jacket while enjoying some shows or attractions in the Parks.

I usually pack one outfit per day, plus two swimsuits.  Then, I throw in the long pants and sweater/jacket, and usually one slightly dressier outfit, say a sundress, just in case we eat at a nicer restaurant, or feel like dressing up one evening for shopping or a show.  However, that is usually not required in most Disney establishments.  Shorts and t-shirts are the norm, unless you are dining at say, Victoria & Alberts at the Grand Floridian!  Check the dress requirements if you suspect you will be dining at an establishment that has one.

And remember, you will probably want to purchase a Disney t-shirt, which you can plan on wearing one of the days you are there, too, so leave room for that!

    Have a wonderful time!
