Tanner from WA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Hi I was just wondering about overnight self parking is complementary for Disney Resort guest in Disney World but 35$ plus tax for guest staying at Disney Resort guest staying in California is that correct seems confusing.

Hi Tanner! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

We had a rental car while we stayed at Disneyland Hotel on our most recent trip, and yes, there is a nightly self-parking charge for Guests of on-site Disneyland Resort Hotels. It is currently $35 plus taxes to self-park a standard-sized vehicle, but there is also a valet option for Disneyland Hotel and Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa for $65 plus taxes. These prices are subject to change, so I'd check prior to your arrival if you're including parking in your budgeting plans.

The benefit of on-site Disneyland Resort Hotels is their proximity to the parks. You won't need to drive--no moving your car--or take transportation from your hotel to the parks, although we love the proximity to the Disneyland Monorail at Disneyland Hotel, since it brings you directly into Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park with a valid theme park admission ticket, and you get the best views on the quick ride over. Additionally, Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel have entrances into Disney California Adventure Park.

    Have the most magical visit!
