Hi I am wondering what our options are for resort stay. My mother is a vacation club member and gifted us points to use. We are five adults and four children under 3. Would Saratoga springs one bedroom villa be an option?

Hey there, Amanda! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy that you've stopped by with such a great family vacation planning question.

Wow! How exciting to be gifted Disney Vacation Club Vacation Points! I always say that Points equal magic, so your mother could not have given a more magical and generous gift. Just hearing this has truly warmed my heart, and I'm thrilled to help you plan your next magical adventure!

To help find you the best answer, I spoke with the most helpful Cast Member with DVC Member Services, and she informed me that according to the DVC Resorts' booking guidelines, a One-Bedroom Villa at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and most One-Bedroom Villas sleep up to five adults and one infant (under three years old). If there is more than one infant, the additional kiddos under three begin to count as a Guest in the room. So, five adults and four children under three would require a room that sleeps up to eight adults to avoid going over the room's maximum capacity. Most Two-Bedroom Villas sleep up to eight or nine adults plus one infant, so your travel party should fit in a Two-Bedroom Villa without a problem.

Your mom can book your Villa at her Home Resort 11 months before your arrival and any of the other DVC Resorts seven months before your arrival date. Once your mom's booking window opens, I suggest that she logs in to her account on the DVC website and searches for available Two-Bedroom Villas to book the room of your dreams! A dream is a wish your heart makes, so may all of your wishes come true!

Amanda, I hope this was helpful, and I hope you stop by again with any planning or DVC questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon,
