    Hello, I was wondering in your opinion is it worth the extra money to stay at AKL even if you are in a standard room with no view of the savannah?

    Hi Erin! Yes, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is a wonderful resort.  You can view the three savannas from several viewing areas within the Lodge and numerous outside viewing areas.  Each savanna is unique and has its own set of animals. Giraffes are the only animals found in all three savannas. Safari Guides are present at the outside viewing areas to answer your questions about the animals. We absolutely love viewing the animals at night with the Night Vision goggles! You and your family will enjoy Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge in any room type.
