I am wondering if my older children, who pay as an adult with the dining plans, can choose off the kids menu? There are a couple of restaurants we would like to go to, but they will not like what's on the adult menu. Thanks

    Bonjour Carie,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

If you’ve chosen to purchase a Disney Dining Plan for your family’s upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort, I’m happy to say that your children can absolutely order off the kids’ menu for their meals at a Disney Dining location.

That being said, using an “adult” credit to pay for their meals may not allow you to get the maximum value out of your Disney Dining Plan entitlements. What I would recommend would be to pay “out of pocket” for their meals and then to use those extra credits in order to dine at a Signature dining restaurant or Dinner Show, such as Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. Some of those meals and shows are quite unique and I wholeheartedly recommend checking them out!

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions about your upcoming vacation. Et n’oubliez pas que vous pouvez également nous poser des questions en français!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
