    Hi Moms! I was wondering if there was an offical calendar of Disney's special days like Dapper Day or events like Galactic Nights? It would be so fun to be prepare and have appropriate outfits for such events. Thanks for all the help you provide me.

    Welcome BACK to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I see that you're planning a vacation for early 2019. I love that you're planning so far in advance, but I love even more helping you create your Best! Vacation! Ever!

    Some of the "events" that happen at Walt Disney World Resort, that have also spread to the other Disney Parks world wide, are fan-created. Dapper Day, for instance, is really amazing, and not just because of the outfits that some people come up with or the throw-back feeling of being in Walt's park of yesteryear. But more so because it started out as this tiny thing by a small group of Disney lovers and got bigger and bigger and now it's a bi-annual tradition. Disney as a whole doesn't sponsor or organize these types of events or fan groups, but as long as all Park Rules and Regulations are being observed, you'll encounter all kinds of fan-spired Disney trends. Even Disney Bounding started out as DisNerds who observed that the 'no adult costume' rule didn't say that your actual clothes couldn't be inspired to resemble your Disney favorite. (Disneyland Moms Panelist Jennifer L even Disney Bounded as a Minnie Van once.)

    Walt Disney World Resort does have a section of their Park Ticket page that lists various Special Events that are available throughout the year. Do check back on this page every now and then to find out about any new events. Or better yet, like and follow the Disney Parks Blog across all forms of social media so you'll be sure to know of any new anything as soon as it's been announced.
