Sophie from Melbourne Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Hello. I was just wondering if I needed to purchase any additional pass or ticket on top of my standard day ticket for New Year’s Eve this year? I’ve booked a ticket for December 31st at Disneyland Paris, but I’ve seen different information out there!

Hi Sophie and welcome to planDisney!

A visit to Disneyland Paris at anytime of year is fantastic but, I seriously cannot think of anywhere better to ring in the New Year. My family did actually spend New Years Eve at Disneyland Paris once, several years ago and it was an amazing experience.

I haven't yet seen any information posted on the Disneyland Paris website and/or Disneyland Paris social media channels about this New Years Eve as of yet so, double-checked this with a Disney Agent via the Live Chat function.

Top Tip - The Live Chat function can be accessed by clicking on "Ask your question" in the blue box that says "Need help?" which pops up while you are browsing the Disneyland Paris website and/or Disneyland Paris App.

The Disney Agent I spoke to, Adam, confirmed that no additional ticket will be required in order to visit Disneyland Paris on New Years Eve, this year. The Disney Parks will be open longer and accessible to all guests with a valid ticket/admission that day. This has actually been the case for the past couple of years now.

He also stated that you can expect fireworks at midnight, extra animations, dance parties and more - all offered at no extra cost. More information about the exact offerings will be released nearer the time.

In addition to this, you will also be able to experience all that Disney's Enchanted Christmas has to offer, as this season runs until 6th January 2026.

All I would say, Sophie, is that the Disney Parks will be extremely busy and tickets will most likely sell out in advance, for this date. The best way to ensure access would be to book a Hotel + Ticket package at a Disney Hotel or, to purchase a dated ticket which does not require you to register your visit in advance.

I just had a quick look on the Disneyland Paris website for you and there does still seem to be availability to purchase dated tickets for 31st December 2025 at this moment in time.

I hope that this has answered your question. Please do feel free to re-visit us, here at planDisney, if we can be of any further help with the planning of your trip!

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
