Hi! I was wondering if we would need reservations if we wanted to eat at any table service restaurant Christmas week? I'd rather just walk in so the day isn't planned around a specific eating time, but I'm afraid everywhere would be booked!

    Hi Jordan,

Excellent choice traveling to Walt Disney World during the holiday season... it's the most MAGICAL time of the yEAR! With holiday magic comes heavier crowds, I'm afraid, so you really will want to plan ahead if Table Service dining is preferred. Walk-ups will likely be scarce across Walt Disney World Resort. Perhaps dining at a Disney Resort Hotel will be a great respite from heavier crowds AND you'll be able to view the amazing holiday decorations adorning the property.

I would highly recommend going ahead and booking Advanced Dining Reservations at 180-days prior to arrival. As your travel dates approach, you may adjust your itinerary, but at least you know you have a few reservations in place. Some restaurants may charge a fee for no shows or cancellations so be sure to check the cancellation policy upon making your Advanced Dining Reservations.

Click here to reserve dining online or simply call Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE beginning at 7am EST 180 days prior to your preferred reservation.  Online reservations will open up one hour prior (6am EST). If you are staying at a Disney owned Resort Hotel, you'll be able to make 10 days worth of dining reservations as an added amenity to staying on property.

Happy planning, Jordan, and I wish you a MAGICAL vacation.
