Hi I was wondering do you need a reservation for downtown Disney?

Hey there, Erica. Welcome to planDisney. I’m so glad you took the time to visit us with your question.

Downtown Disney District has great retail and dining options for Guests to enjoy before, after, or in-between their theme park visits. Be sure to pick up some souvenirs at World of Disney and grab some sweet treats at Marceline’s Confectionery. My kids and I enjoy ogling the candy apples being transformed into whimsical Disney characters.

I’m happy to report that you do not need a reservation to enter Downtown Disney District. You will, however, need to go through bag check and security prior to entry. Table service restaurants, such as Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen and Catal Restaurant, allow Guests to make advance dining reservations; however, last minute walk-ups may be available.

If you have additional questions, please don’t hesitate to write us again! We’re all EARS!

    See ya real soon,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
