I was wondering if i need to purchase another ticket for new years at magic kingdom or if you just need one ticket for new years eve and can stay overnight

    Hi Andreshka!

Walt Disney World Resort is the best place to celebrate any occasion, so it's the perfect place to ring in the New Year! Whether you are enjoying one of the theme parks, spending the evening at one of the New Year's Eve special events or Disney Springs, you are in for a big treat.

Unfortunately, Magic Kingdom won't be open all night on New Year's Eve, but you will be able to enjoy all day and much of the night in the theme park. On December 31, 2018, Magic Kingdom will open at 9:00 a.m. and will be open through 1:00 a.m. on January 1. Guests will be able to enjoy Magic Kingdom on all of New Year's Eve through 1:00 a.m. on January 1 using one admission day of a Walt Disney World Resort theme park ticket. Magic Kingdom will re-open on January 1 at 9:00 a.m., at which time you will need a second admission ticket if you would like to enjoy the remainder of New Year's Day at the theme park.

Keep in mind that Magic Kingdom's New Year's Eve fireworks are incredibly popular, so I recommend that you arrive at the theme park in the morning and enjoy the theme park's attractions, dining and entertainment during the day before the New Year's celebration. Let us know if you have any additional questions as you continue planning your New Year's Eve celebration! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
